Hemerocallis, the “day beauty”, has been called the perfect perennial. Commonly known as daylilies, these beautiful and hardy plants are beloved for their showy, colourful blossoms and ease of growing. Choose from an extensive range of cultivars, available in nearly every colour imaginable.

Daylilies bring beauty to almost any garden with minimal effort: hardy, drought-tolerant once established, and forgiving of imperfect soil. Planted alongside bearded irises they extend and enrich the flowering season, with the Spring display of iris giving way to a Summer profusion of daylilies. Some varieties will rebloom during Autumn.

Care tips
• Best in full sun to light afternoon shade.
• Well-draining soil, water regularly until established.
• Deadhead spent blooms, divide every 3–5 years to refresh clumps.
