Shipping & Packaging Info
How We Package Live Plants and Cuttings
- Soil-Free Cuttings/Bare Roots: Certain plant cuttings and roots/rhizomes are wrapped in damp paper to keep them hydrated, and placed inside a plastic bag that is secured by a rubber band or twist-tie to seal the moisture and to keep the soil from spilling.
- We Ship Early in the Week to ensure the plant does not sit in a dark, unventilated sorting facility over the weekend.
- Weather-Permitting: We suggest that shipping be avoided when Gauteng, transit hubs, or the destination are experiencing extreme heat (above 32°C) or freezing temperatures.
